GOOD MORNING EVERY ONE is the debut EP from KA recorded over a two-week period in August 2011 in a Brooklyn Loft. The new sun is rising. The Aquarian Age is dawning and KA informs us that we have “the power of angels” and are the “bringers of the dawn”. Each and every one of us. GOOD MORNING EVERY ONE draws on a wide pallet of musical styles from psychedelic folk and free jazz to indigenous spirituals and meditative drones. Have no fear. There are universal laws at work here and KA have materialized to teach us how to heal. “Standing high upon the summit” with eagle vision we are assured that “It’s alright – we’re going up to the light”. If there’s still any question about what 2012 is all about we needn’t look any further. In Multicolored Butterfly KA assures us that “the prophesies have been fulfilled” and it is time to “bring in peace to everyone”. GOOD MORNING EVERY ONE is a celebration of the great shift in consciousness occurring on the planet – an instruction manual for raising our vibration and shifting our frequency to receive the cosmic downloads of the NOW AGE.
KA formed in September of 2010 during a few transcendental jam sessions between Brooklyn’s Fort Tilden Beach and the walls of Greenpoint’s urban Amma ashram Maharose.
After fasting on a mountain for three nights the following month, they descended with a vision and a purpose to co-create music reflective of their own personal metamorphisis - mirroring the mass transformations they saw happening around them in the world, in the milky way, and in the entire universe at large.
Brooke, already a reiki master and minister of the Dolphin Star Temple, having undergone five years of esoteric initiations to energetically work with the light of the Pleiadean, Andromedan, Sirian, and Arcturian star systems, met Santiparro in a workshop in Manhattan on the subject of lucid dreaming. He had spent the past three years closely studying under the guidance of a wise medicine man - sending him through a series of initiations with elders of various Native American traditions from Pine Ridge to Palenque, Ecuador, and Peru – continuously taking him apart and putting him back together cleaner and more connected. Brooke’s own path led her from New York to Java Indonesia to Mount Shasta and back, eventually finding herself a student of the same medicine man as Santiparro.
Together with a group of 15 other core people, they founded a spiritual community center in Greenpoint Brooklyn called Golden Drum where they continue to develop their wide array of gifts with music and healing. In 2010, they were invited by Kyp Malone to play a Tribute to Alice Coltrane at UCLA. This journey west was elemental in their musical bond and they have since shared the stage with an eclectic array of performers including Prince Rama, Rain Machine, Daniel Higgs, and Future Shuttle amongst many others in venues from Detroit to Toronto to New York CIty. KA has also performed on WBAI's Pacifica Radio as well as Arthur Radio.
KA also hosts a bi-weekly two-hour sound bath called DEEP SPACE birthed out of the magic of Golden Drum and their studies of the cellular healing properties of sound and light, featuring a new guest musician every month. Various DEEP SPACE sessions have been recorded and released in very limited edition packaging.
